New Home Pictures!!! The Kitchen and Sitting Room

I wanted to post new pics of our home, but it takes a while for me to do this so I'm doing two rooms a day. Enjoy!! I love seeing before and after pictures so I posted them for everyone. Tim and our friends did so much work to make it a home for us. We're greatly blessed beyond measure to have such a beautiful home. It has far exceeded any expectations. Thank you Lord for being our provider!!
This is our kitchen BEFORE we did anything to it. When you look at the before and after pictures notice the ceiling is raised, new lighting, new counter tops, new back splash (thank you Mike D.) and a hole made where the sink is and cabinets missing.

This is the area of the kitchen where our kitchen table is now sitting. The wall paper was one thing I knew for sure was going to have to go. BEFORE

This is the kitchen while Tim and Randy are working in it and tearing things a part. Randy is a wonderful friend and contractor. He had a lot of great ideas and is very helpful. Tim said he really enjoyed doing the work in the kitchen. "It was fun."

AFTER:Here's half of our wonderful kitchen. I have loved trying to figure what to do and how to decorate it. Making dinners and cleaning up is something I really enjoy doing these days.

AFTER:The other half of our kitchen. I have loved using up all those cabinets. What a blessing to have in entertaining and using to serve the Lord.

AFTER:This is our eating area in the kitchen. My dear grandmother has moved in with my parents and she gave us her kitchen dinner. We have loved having the new table and chairs.BEFORE: This is the sitting room BEFORE we did anything to it. The previous owners left us the furniture. We paid them a little bit for the couches. They have been awesome. Look below for the current picture of the sitting room.

AFTER:Our sitting room! I'm really pleased with how it turned out. This is where we have church on Wednesday nights. It's really nice to have a room in the house without a t.v. to visit with guests. Come back tomorrow!! Two more rooms!!! Let me know what you think. Love you guys.
