Poor Tim, So Sick!

My sweetheart is so sick with the flu. He went to the doctor yesterday and he tested positive for the flu. For the last four days we've been sitting around the house with sick people. It's been hard at times for me because Tim and I are such a team. I really forget sometimes how much he helps me with the house and kids. It's been hard to feel like all the pressure is on me, I know it's not but it's been difficult. I've been worried about Tim because he's on the sixth day of all this and not getting better. We're hoping he can go back to work on Thursday, but we're taking one day at a time. Our wonderful Dr.Towns gave Savannah some Tamaflu(sp?) and she's doing much better. Kynnedi and she just have a cough still. I miss my husband and best friend, when he's sick like this. Tim always has so much energy and personality. One of the many reasons I fell in love with Tim was he's ability to make me laugh. We're always laughing and cutting up. I knew way back before I got married I wanted someone who would make me laugh. Life's to short not to be laughing and having fun. I pray tomorrow he's feeling much better.
Savannah girl working on a worksheet. I'm so excited for her she's been doing a great job working on coloring in the lines. She's been so proud of herself. It's fun to watch her learn and work hard at things. Savannah has been Daddy's partner this week. Always wanting to help him and stay close. I believe she has a very caring and has a tender heart for others. I pray the Lord will continue to grow this in her and I can help show how to serve others.

Sisters!! Kynnedi has loved being a big sister especially to Olivia (she still calls her our baby). She's like a little mother always wanting to pick her up and carry her. Of course, Olivia doesn't like any of this, but what Olivia likes is computer time. Kynnedi is working on some school stuff on the computer and Olivia loves to sit with her and watch. Olivia thinks she's just as big as her two sisters. I'm thankful Olivia hasn't gotten sick yet and that Kynnedi and Savannah are feeling better. Just look at those smiles!!

We got the FLU!!

I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while, but Tim and the girls have had the flu. It's been pretty hard taking care of the sick people and keeping up with the house stuff. I pray that I'll have a servant's heart and a true compassion to serve even when I'm not feeling like it. I had a hard day today just feeling sorry for myself, but the Lord reminded how great His Love is for me. I was encouraged that I have the Lord's strengths in me. I have the power of Him living inside me. So when I having a bad day like today I pray,"Lord please allow your strength and compassion to come out of me." I want so much to take care of my family in a special, loving way.
I hope no one else out there is sick like us. Sorry, no pictures today, but hopefully as the week goes on I can come back with tons.

Sick Days are No Fun

Friday and Saturday have been hard days around our home. Tim and Savannah are now sick. They both are running very high fevers and feeling really achy. We went to the doctor and he said it was just a virsus. FYI don't go to the the doctor's office now if you truly don't have to. It's a very scary place. I'm now praying that Olivia and I both don't catch the bug. I've been doing dishes, laundry, and baths through the whole day. It's hard, but I'm very thankful that I'm not sick. I told Tim what would we do. I don't even know. This picture of the girls was to cute not to post.
My sweet girls in Olivia's bed. I walked into the room and they all were in the bed. I thought it was to sweet not to take a picture of and save. Olivia loves her sisters very much and can't wait till she's in their bedroom all together. Hopefully, we can do this within the next couple of months. I pray everyday for my girls and that they will always love one another and encourage one another in the Lord. I would love for all of us to live on the same street one day and get to hang-out all the time. Thank you Lord for blessing me with such blessings.

This picture made me laugh. Tim was like can't you just take a regular picture. I was like No, hahaha. I wanted to show everyone my new hair. I went to a wonderful place here and Shannon was so sweet and good. I had all black hair, that was a whole story in itself, and both Tim and I wanted my hair back blond. Well, I couldn't go back to all blond because then I my hair would fall out. Shannon really said that to me. So, we're going to do it in steps. Hopefully, you can tell a difference. I can't wait to fix my hair the way I do it. If that makes sense. Tim was so sweet. He took care of all three kids just so I could go and get my hair done. That was a man who knew I needed to go and get my hair done because it had been far to long.

Mommy and her beautiful girls. I had just gotten home from getting my home done. Savannah was starting to feel bad here. Poor thing!

What a Day!!

Today was a crazy day. If you have the opportunity to go the doctor this week don't. There are so many sick people there. Kynnedi is in this picture with a high fever and feeling horrible. We found out today she has a bladder infection and not the flu. Yea!! I was so worried the whole family would catch it. I feel bad for Kynnedi because she's been feeling horrible for 3 days now and we just figured it out. My poor baby finally has medicine. I'm hoping for a better day tomorrow. Look at Savannah, just hamming it up!! She wanted to make a funny face. The last couple of days, she says she's been the big sister taking care of Kynnedi and Olivia. It's been so cute watching her get Kynnedi drinks and helping Olivia outside in the backyard. I feel all out of sorts when someone is sick. This is the first time Kynnedi's been sick in two years. Please pray for the medicine to work and for her fever to go down. Thank you!
Mommy and her sweet girl Olivia!!

Tonight we had a few people over to watch the Office and Community. We always enjoy entertaining. We hope everyone always feels welcome in our home. This is our sweet friend Bekah. Look at Olivia in her p.j.'s having fun with us.

Tim, Caleb, and Darren tonight at our Office watching party. It was really cool all the guys got at their guitars and started to play. We always love having people over to our home. It's so much fun!

Fun with friends!

Tuesday night we celebrated my sweet friend Lana's birthday. It was the most wonderful time of encouragement and learning about the Lord. Everyone shared so much it was so uplifting. We went to Gloria's and it was great food. I thank the Lord for such wonderful women of God. I gain so much wisdom from them all and am thankful. I carve my time with my sweet friends. I can't wait till the next time we do it.

Mondays Activities

Our wonderful Monday!! Dance class was awesome because my favorite two people showed up to support us. I love my grandparents so much and they love my girls. I usually see them every Thursday, but for the last two months they have been taking care of my great grandmother. Shreveport is a long way from us and it was a joy to get to spend time with them. After dance class we went to our favorite kid restaurant and visited for a long time. I love it that my girls have such a sweet relationship with their great grandparents. It's been a great day.

Sunday Morning Madness

Olivia posing in her church clothes. All my girls have now worn this outfit. I think it's so special to have these memories about all the girls sharing things. I know that's what family is about ... being a team. Tim leads worship at our church most Sundays, which is wonderful. But it means he leaves at 7am and I get to help all of us get ready. At first it was hard, but now I'm starting to get in my zone. Being organized has helped. Getting baths the night before, picking out our outfits and laying them out for the next day, packing all our bags the night before (total of 3, plus my purse), and then waking up and making out a game plan, I try and get myself ready first before they get up and then get everyone else ready and organized. Today was a good morning. Church was amazing and I learned so much. This week I have a lot to ask the Lord. Many questions with out answers, but the exciting part is I know who has all the answers. The Lord does and He's just waiting for me to ask Him. Hope everyone had a great Sunday and was encouraged in the Lord.

My Savannah girl reading a book while waiting to go to church this morning. This was the only picture I got of her. She just wasn't in a mood to be taking pictures, so I didn't push it. I already had to many other things on my plate. Like I say, I pick my battles and this wasn't one of them. Savannah did do a good job being patient and waiting till we all were ready.

Look at my Kynnedi. Getting so big and precious to me. She loves going to her Sunday school class. We're so blessed to have a wonderful teacher who loves all the kids so much. Kynnedi gets very excited about going to class. It's been a great day.

Sorry, I just posted and her name is Ellie Jane!!!

Sorry, I didn't catch it until I posted it and wanted to correct myself. It's Ellie Jane, what a beautiful name.

Ellie Jean's 1st Birthday Party

Sweet Ellie Jean at her 1st Birthday party. It was a Hawaiian theme party. Which I thought was so cute for a 1st birthday party. Look at those eyes!! Just beautiful. Sweet Ellie, I remember the day you were born and how happy your mommy was to have you. Happy Birthday sweet girl!!
Daddy and his baby girl Olivia. Tim was a huge help with the kids at the party. They had a pool and of course the kids thought they needed to be in it. At the party the had a bounce house and swing set. Olivia loved the slide, Kynnedi loved the pool, and Savannah made a friend who was all her own, Riley. I was so happy for Savannah. She and this little girl played the whole time together and were so nice to each other. It blessed my heart. It's hard for me because Savannah is my middle one and always plays with who ever is there. Which I writing this and like, well yea that is a good character trait to learn. Sorry, now I'm rumbling.

My sweet Olivia loving on Baby Cash. He was such a great baby, just laying around relaxing. Never once did I hear him cry. His mother, Jessica, is so blessed to have such beautiful children. Olivia loves giving out those kisses.

Sisters-These two women are the sweetest sisters I know. I pray that my girls will be as close as Heather and Sarah. They both have such a sweet heart towards one another. It really is a great example of what family is all about.

We had a wonderful time getting to see friends. Chris and Sarah are a wonderful christian couple who always encourage us whenever we're around them. Except Chris was giving me a hard time about not supporting Texas. I'm just a Boomer Sooner, what can I say!!

All the sweet kids watching Ellie unwrap her gifts. She was so excited about her cards. Everything else kind of overwhelmed her, but she got a lot of great fall clothes and toys.

Fridays are so Fun!!

All the kids posing for the camera at our weekly play date with the sweet Adler family. Today we did a project on all types of sports balls. This week we all studied the letter B. The kids had so much fun gluing and pasting. Heather made us a wonderful lunch and the kids always have so much fun playing together. It's very nice to have a family who teaches and trains their kids almost as identical as we do. They are precious to our family. All the kids look so cute in this picture. Yea for Fridays!!
Sweet Olivia playing on Brenden's toy. She loved riding around the house in it. She and Brenden play sometimes and then Brenden will go and play with the big girls. He's so sweet to make sure and include her. Olivia is getting her smile down. YES!! I just love it.

One of my favorite pictures of the girls today. They were playing dress-up and looked so cute I just had to take a picture. Savannah, Hailey, and Kynnedi are looking so much older. They're very beautiful.

Hailey, Kynnedi, and Brenden posing for the camera in their dress-up clothes. Brenden wanted me to take a picture of him. What a wonderful family to become closer with and love. Look at sweet Brenden. The only boy in all these girls.

NEWS FLASH- Kynnedi finally got a craw dad. She and Savannah have been trying for days. They did it last night with Daddy. He got some bacon out and that was all it took for them to catch some. They caught a total of 4. They threw them all back, but I was so excited and proud for my girls. Daddy was so sweet to go out there and help them. Look at Kynnedi she was so proud to show me.

Daddy outside helping catch the craw dads. The girls had so much fun hanging-out with their sweet daddy. Look at Tim catching things in his work clothes. He looks so handsome.

Master Bedroom - Before and After

BEFORE: This was the master bedroom before we did anything to it. We painted the walls, put up a new ceiling fan, and changed the window treatments. It's amazing what a little paint and furniture add to a room.
AFTER: Our new master bedroom. I love coming and relaxing at the end of the day in here. It's been wonderful to have in this new home.

AFTER: One side of our room. I have love having this couch in here. It's a great place to sit and talk or read a book. Honestly, it has been a great place to stack stuff on. But I'm working on putting everything away when we get home. I know it needs so more, but I really don't know what else yet. I'm very happy with still.

AFTER: One side of our room. The previous owners left us this tv and stand. It has been wonderful. Sorry about the picture I haven't figured our how to change it the other direction.

AFTER: Our master bedroom finished. Tim had the great idea to paint the walls two different colors. Two walls are dark and then other two are a lighter brown. We put the computer and desk in our room because we really didn't have any other place in our home to put it that made sense. This is the view when you walk in the room.

Thursday was a nice day at home.

My sweet girl Olivia. She has been in the best little mood today. Just look at that smile. It just melts my heart. Today was the day she figured out if you take a picture with our camera you can then see it on the back. She was so interested in taking pictures and then seeing herself. It was so funny to watch her discover this out. She truly is our miracle baby. Thank you Lord for her health and her attitude.
My baby girl Olivia today. She was all smiles in her put-together outfit. I was doing laundry and she just had to have the blue t-shirt on over her other shirt.
I love getting out all their fall clothes. This weather has been wonderful here expect for all the rain. But I do love the cool weather it's bring in with it. I just love this picture of my girl.

My Savannah girl showing off her creation. Details below about that, but here's another funny story. We watched the Duggar show this morning and it was where they were slip and sliding. The girls in the Duggar family wear these special modest bathing suits. Well, Savannah had to go and find her own Duggar bathing suit. The special swim suits had a t-shirt underneath and then a black like dress on top. Well, this is the best I could come up with. There is a t-shirt underneath and this is her black dress on top. I was laughing and so proud of her for wanting to be modest. Usually, this is not Savannah. But it really makes me realize how much they do pay attention to on TV.

Savannah girl showing off her art project. She wanted to paint an apple for a gift for Mrs. Duggar's baby shower. Kynnedi and her were throwing Mrs. Duggar a baby shower this afternoon for her 19th child. It was so hard not to laugh when they were telling me about it. Savannah was so proud of her gift.

My sweet girl Kynnedi working on her school work on our computer. She loves going to her favorite file and clicking on her PBS kids, Starfall, or Barbie .com's. Kynnedi is so quick on the computer. Tim teases me pretty soon she's going to pass me up. Which honestly, wouldn't take very much. haha! She's had a great day today.

Wednesday was Wonderful

My Kynnedi ready to go to church. She loved posing for the camera tonight. Today was a great day. We got a lot done with school stuff. Kynnedi is now writing her name on all her papers and Savannah can spell Book. Olivia slept for 4 hours this afternoon for nap time. We had a wonderful time of prayer at church tonight and visited with really good friends. It was a great day.
Kynnedi and Olivia waiting for daddy to get home so we can go to church. Olivia loves her sisters very much. Savannah right before church. She didn't want me to take her picture. She had just woken up from a nap.
For lunch we had a fun picnic outside in our garage. The girls had fun eating, playing, eating, and then riding their bikes. It was fun switching it up a bit. My sweet girls. I love them so much. Kynnedi trying her hardest to catch those craw dads in our yard. She tried for about 20 minutes and never caught anything. What a great day.You know when you're writing about catching craw dads in your yard you live in the country. haha Savannah Lynn trying to catch those craw dads in our yard. She was having a lot of fun trying. The girls trying to catch craw dads in our yard. The neighborhood boys have been in our yard the past weekend and actually caught many of them. The girls thought it was so cool and today were outside trying it for themselves. They didn't catch any. They were bummed. Olivia really wanted to help, but was easily distracted.

Tuesday, Tuesday, Tuesday!! The TV Room

BEFORE: Our t.v. room. We KNEW this wasn't our style and wanted to change it. Tim did an amazing job with help from some of our dear friends. Randy and Yolanda, thank you for all your help. The room is now amazing.
BEFORE: Both Tim and I knew those wood walls would have to go. Tim came up with this great idea.

AFTER: Our wonderful t.v room. I think this room in the whole house has the BEST change.

AFTER: The TV room turned better then we expected. I love it!!! We've already had many people over watching sports stuff.

AFTER: Our TV room!! I have loved how amazing it how turned out. Tim and our friend, Yolanda, worked so hard on it.
P.S. I still thinking about ideas concerning our drapes or curtains. Also, what I should hang on the walls or if anything at all. So, the room is almost done, but just a couple of things to add to it.
