Today when we went outside to take out the trash, guess what was dead in our driveway? A long skinny snake!! I was like yuck, but of course the girls said," Wow mommy look". We all had a long talk about snakes. I thought it was a really cool moment to capture because now we're living in the "country" and we're finding all types of things. I loved the way the girls were so engrossed and delighted with this new creature. It was to precious not to capture. Enjoy the pictures. Yes, Olivia still has on her p.j.'s. It had been a long morning. ha ha!!!

Savannah is my child who really studies a situation before jumping into it. She really was checking out the snake. She had never seen one before in her life.
Kynnedi and Savannah first looking at the snake. They weren't scared of it at all, which wasn't good in my mind. We had the big talk about how if they were playing outside and if they were to see a snake make sure no one was to go near it because it could hurt you. Obviously, the talk had an impact on them. Look how close they are to the snake. ha ha
Kynnedi loves animals!! She wanted to touch the snake so badly. Savannah on the other hand tried, but just couldn't allow herself to do it.
